STAGE

Based on the film Hotel Beirut by Hady Zakkak , Fractured Love Stories is a semi site specific
performance that, with sounds and music taken from different films, celebrates the golden age of Lebanese cinema.
Beirut, Espionage and Romance as centers for the narratives.

The first edition of Project Bedrock's showing called Raining Rocks took place in Hammana Artist House on June 30th 2022.

This project together with the showing are funded by the Arab Fund for Arts and Culture AFAC.

Our  “BODIES OF WATER" are in constant interaction with what surrounds us;  the environment and the self inform each other and redefine each other constantly. It is through our BODIES OF WATER as living centres of  intentionality that we choose our world and our world chooses us. As  all BODIES OF WATER we slowly but surely form new landscapes.

We are dealing with the idea of breaching boundaries and thus creating an initial conflict between the pre-existing/status quo, and the possibility of change.

 Six encounters/duets for four dancers
Created in collaboration with the Colorful Dance Festival in Changde, China. 

 A brutal, beautiful and funny duet performance about the skirmishes between a man and a woman as they try to navigate through life 

 Couched in the trees, forest inhabitants welcome people in through rituals and dance.
